Returns and exchanges of bespoke and made-to-order jewellery:
- Veale Fine Jewellery does not re-sell any worn pieces of jewellery. Due to this and the fact that all pieces are ‘made to order’, Veale Fine Jewellery does not accept returns on any bespoke and made-to-order item.
- If you are unhappy with the quality of the finish or the likeness to the final design, Veale Fine Jewellery will endeavour to rectify any issues within reason.
- Using discretion on an item-to-item basis, Veale Fine Jewellery would consider exchanging an item of jewellery for vouchers of the same value to be spent in-store.
Returns and exchanges of non-bespoke jewellery:
- Veale Fine Jewellery will accept returns and exchanges of non-bespoke / non-custom made jewellery if the goods returned to us:
- Have not been worn;
- Are securely packaged in their original packaging;
- Are returned to us via hand (or via Royal Mail Special Delivery) within 7 days of you having received the order.
- Once we have received and inspected the items we will notify you by email and the appropriate action will be taken immediately.
Alternations of bespoke and custom-made jewellery:
- Veale Fine Jewellery will not start to create your jewellery until a final design has been agreed and a 50% deposit of the sale price paid. This deposit is non-refundable.
- On receipt of the deposit payment, Veale Fine Jewellery will start to manufacture the final design that was agreed between the customer and James Veale (itemised on the invoice).
- If you wish to make changes to the design after this point, please contact us as soon as possible. We will let you know if the change is possible.
- If it is possible, we will let you know about any changes to the final price, the timing of supply, or anything else that would be a result of your requested change. We will ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.
- An updated final ‘balance payment’ invoice will be sent on completion.
- If you are unhappy with the final piece’s likeness to the agreed design, Veale Fine Jewellery will endeavour to (but is not liable to) rectify any issues within reason.
- If you would like to make any alterations to the final piece, even though it represents the agreed design, these changes will be charged accordingly.
Ring sizing:
- Veale Fine Jewellery will provide access to a UK industry standard ring sizer and advise all customers on fit. However, the final decision on ring size is the choice of the customer and once it has been agreed and the deposit paid, the ring will be made to this given ring size.
- All finished pieces will be within a ¼ of a size (+ or -) of the specified ring size. Very slight variation will be inevitable in the manufacturing process.
- In most instances, Veale Fine Jewellery will adjust the ring size once on the house. Any further alterations will be charged
- No re-sizing can be offered on full eternity rings, any full set rings and certain gemstone rings.
