Everything about Veale Jewellery exceeded my already high expectations. James made my now fiancée’s engagement ring and we couldn’t be happier! Apart from a few Google’s, I knew very little about engagement rings and diamonds, having initially visited James with a simple brief – a bespoke, hand crafted, non-High Street, very special piece.
James and I discussed various different styles and he proposed multiple designs based on the brief of what I initially thought I wanted. James took onboard everything I said as we worked together developing the perfect piece he understood I was after. Along the way James showed me stones he had available and sourced more, helping me choose the all important perfect 4C’s diamond.
The ring was manufactured in James’ private workshop, with elements being supplied and sourced from specialist professionals he knows well. James sent me regular updates and photos of the piece being made and physically showed me when I visited. A personal touch with photos that deserve framing. Certainly nothing I could get on the High Street!
After all the secret meet ups and “late night’s working”, I took my fiancee to be, on a once in a lifetime trip and asked the special once in a lifetime 4 word question. Needless to say, she said yes. I couldn’t recommend James and Veale Jewellery higher. His professionalism, experience and craftsmanship is second to none.
