Bespoke Pearl Necklace

Yvonne wanted to repurpose the pearls from a pair of stud earrings. Due to how delicate pearls are it’s notoriously hard to remove them from their original settings. To get around this, we removed the gold posts from the earrings and laser welded a gold hoop onto the metal cup that attached to the pearls; allowing us to attach the pearls to the necklace without any damage. The two pearls are held on a delicate 18-carat gold chain that’s independent of the main necklace chain so its relative lengths can be adjusted.
