Bespoke Engagement Rings

Our bespoke engagement rings typically start from around £3,000, with the final price depending on the design, precious metal and gemstones you choose. Broadly speaking, delicate, refined designs often fall between £3,000–£8,000. Larger diamonds and more statement rings generally start from £8,000+.

We’ll discuss your budget from the beginning and source a selection of diamonds that make best use of it. James will always guide you through the choices so you can move forward with complete confidence.

All the stones we source are from established suppliers whose quality and supply chains we trust. Diamonds above 0.5 carats are sourced with GIA certification. Smaller accent stones are carefully matched in quality to your centre diamond.

Absolutely. Many of our engagement rings are created for surprise proposals. James can guide you through the design, diamond and practical details, even if you’re starting with very little information about the ring your partner might like.

Not knowing your partner’s ring size is very common. We can create the engagement ring to an estimated size and resize it afterwards if needed. Most bespoke engagement rings can be adjusted (with no visible signs) and resizing is included as part of the process.

Yes. Increasingly, couples choose to design an engagement ring together. You can come to your consultation as a couple and be involved in every decision, from the initial design through to choosing the diamond or gemstone.

Yes. James will shortlist diamonds specifically for your design and budget, and you’ll have the opportunity to view your shortlisted stones in person before making your final decision.

Not necessarily. Because every element is chosen intentionally a bespoke engagement ring is often shaped around your budget.

Working directly with an independent designer also means you’re paying for exactly what you want, rather than choosing a pre-set design from a collection.

Once the design is approved, creation of your ring takes 6 – 8 weeks. It is worth allowing a couple of weeks before this for design appointments and to allow you enough time to consider your options.

Whenever possible it’s always better to have more time than rush. However, if you’re already working towards a specific date, we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your plans.

Meet James at our private jewellery studio in Hertfordshire or at one of the Soho House locations in London. We love meeting clients in person but we can also work with you by phone or video call if that suits you better.

This is a common worry which is why we guide you carefully through the design process to help you choose a ring that is right for her.

If your partner would like to adjust something afterwards we can often refine the ring together after she has seen it. As each engagement ring is made to order full refunds aren’t possible but we always aim to find a constructive solution if adjustments are needed.
