Remodelling Jewellery
Bespoke jewellery can incorporate the sentimental value of jewellery you already own. Whether you want to adjust an existing piece or create an entirely new piece using heirloom jewellery, we can remodel your diamonds, gemstones and gold into a bespoke creation.
How long does it take for bespoke jewellery to be made?
With many steps in the creation process, bespoke jewellery takes four to six weeks to create once designs have been agreed. The initial design phase can go as quickly or as slowly as you like, depending on how ready you are to make decisions! We always ask for any specific dates you need your piece by however it’s always best to leave as much time as possible. We’re happy to hold your piece securely if it needs to be kept secret until a certain date.
Bespoke jewellery cost
One benefit of creating bespoke jewellery is that it can be tailored to your budget. We work with you to achieve the look you are after within your financial allowance. Rather than ‘cutting costs’ we focus on achieving the maximum for your budget. We can talk though considerations that impact price; such as, accent stones, ‘round number’ carat weights, different shapes and cuts, and working with gemstones as well as diamonds.

Bespoke Ring Cost
If you’re after a figure (we know you want the nitty gritty!) then generally the price of a diamond set ring starts from £1,500 and goes up from here – anything up to £10,000 and above!
Ladies wedding and eternity rings generally fall between £600 – £1,500, with design and material choices pushing this figure up. 9-carat gold men’s wedding rings start from £400 and 18-carat gold options start from around £875, increasing for wider bands and additional design features.

Bespoke Jewellery FAQs
Can you take diamonds out of a ring to make a new one?
Yes, absolutely. With care diamonds can be taken out of an existing ring and set into new metal work. For most diamonds we will also be able to source matching stones if you’d like to add in any more.
Are your diamonds certificated?
All diamonds over 0.5ct are GIA certificated. Smaller stones are not individually certificated but all comply with the Kimberley Process.
I’m worried the metal looks chunky on the CAD design…
CAD designs always look chunkier than they do in reality. This is due to the rendering software used. The metal work in the final piece will be hand finished and look less dominant than in the CAD design.
I’m buying a gift. I don’t know the person’s ring size…
To get closer to the right size one idea is to find an existing ring that the person wears and compare to our printable ring sizing tool (or press into a bar of soap!). We can use this to gauge the size of the ring finger. In addition, we know that the average woman’s ring finger is an M on her left hand. The right hand is usually slightly larger. In the absence of any information we can make the ring to the average size (or slightly smaller / larger depending on your thoughts) and re-size it later (except for full eternity rings where re-sizing is more difficult).
If you are able to disclose to the other person that you require their ring size, we work to UK industry standard ring sizes. We can provide access to a ring sizer or see our online advice for measuring ring sizes and our printable ring sizer.

I’ve changed my mind, can I alter my design?
Once a design has been agreed we require a 50% deposit to start creating your piece. Once started it will be a lot harder to make changes to the design. We cannot guarantee that all changes will be possible although we will endeavour to accommodate them. There may be an additional charge for such changes to reflect the cost of the materials and re-design.
